If It’s Not a Hell Yes, It’s a Hell No
We’ve invested a lot of time and energy in our lives doing things we probably don’t really want to do. Maybe out of habit, because you feel bad, or you were raised with the belief of “doing the right thing”. Thing is, if we are constantly giving up our time and energy for things that we don’t really want to do, suddenly that’s what a majority of our life becomes. We have gotten really good at saying "yes" to things because we are "supposed" to, or because it's the "right" thing to do instead of what makes the most sense to us. What matters most to us. What gets us excited. If you are at all wishy washy when it comes to saying yes to something (not considering fear as a factor), then say no. Your goals, your agenda, your life. When you say "no" to something you free up more room and time for other things. And if you aren’t sure how you feel, ask yourself on a scale of 1-10 how excited you are. If it’s not an 8 or higher, it’s a hell no friend.
Today's Theme in Action:
New compass and filter for your life. If it's not a hell yes, it's a hell NO. This would be a good time to remind you that "hell no's" don't get you closer to your goals.
As always, thanks for choosing to be here.
