Your Limiting Beliefs

Limiting beliefs - the thoughts that swirl around in our head on repeat trying to keep us small, safe, protected and out of harms way. They live often undetected in our subconscious until we decide to step out and take action. That's when they come to life and get really loud. Because remember, they exist to "protect us". They get so loud that often we fail to even get started.

Statements like:

"it will never work"

"you'll never follow through"

"you aren't ______ enough"

These thoughts are designed to keep us safe. But in doing so they also keep us small. Will you need to become consciously aware of what yours are? Yes. Will you have to go head-to-head with them and show them who's boss? Also yes. I have faith in you. In fact, I'm pretty sure those beliefs don't stand a chance against you and your new ways.

Today's Theme in Action:

What statements do you keep telling yourself that aren’t true - that hold you back. Identify them. Bring them to the surface and get consciously aware of them - because when you do that, you can start to shut them down. Those statements - they aren’t true. And do you know how I know that? Because you have zero evidence to prove that they are true. So what I personally do? When I do catch a limiting belief trying to creep it’s way in, I look for evidence to prove it’s true - which I obviously can never find. My advice? Call them out, silence them and keep moving forward.
